II had already been working with the Mount Sinai Health System for a few years when the Covid-19 pandemic hit.
Shortly after, I was asked to document the extraordinary efforts of their staff — from building additional bed spaces to setting up testing and triage tents, treating Covid-19 patients, conducting research, and so much more.

Being able to use my skills to do something meaningful during the lockdown and beyond made my experience of the pandemic so much more profound.

I want to thank all healthcare workers who went above and beyond day after day to save lives and give hope, comfort and humanity to not only the countless patients but also to their families.
